Setting up my account took like two minutes, so yeah, no real hassle there...

As someone who likes things to be straightforward, this was a little confusing for me at first. It took some trial and error, but once I got the hang of it, I did find it useful.

I reached out to support and they got back to me quickly. They were kinda nice and helped me sort things out without much hassle

I’ve been mentally drained lately, so I really appreciated that GitKraken didn’t make me jump through hoops just to figure out pricing or licenses. The plans were easy to understand, adding my account was straightforward, and I had it up and running without much effort. It’s not the cheapest tool out there, but it feels fair for what you get, and so far there haven’t been any weird surprises...

gitkraken has been really fast for me, even when I’m working with larger repos. Switching branches, pulling, pushing, and looking through history all feels smooth... I’m not sitting there waiting like I have with some other tools.
I use it almost every day, and it just saves me time. The app opens quickly, stays out of the way, and does what I need without much fuss... happy with the speed and overall performance.

I’ve always been loyal to my usual Git setup, so I was a little hesitant to give gitkraken much of a chance. But after using it mostly for merge conflicts, I have to admit it’s saved me a lot of stress.
Being able to see the changes side by side makes it way easier to figure out what should stay, instead of squinting at the terminal and hoping I don’t break something. I still double-check everything because old habits die hard, but it feels a lot less intimidating now.

It’s not perfect every single time, and part of me still wants to stick with the tools I already know, but for resolving conflicts, gitkraken has been genuinely helpful. Definitely earned 5 stars from me.

I tried it on both my Mac and my Linux machine, and it just worked with zero drama. No weird setup issues, no fuss, nothing. i was way more excited about that than I probably should’ve been.

I’ll give it credit, the visuals are nice and it does look slick at first. But once you actually start using it, the panels get crowded fast. The company wording makes it sound all streamlined and effortless, but it feels a bit busier than they make it out to be.
